Where healing leads to wholeness

Pastor Ana Fernandes has been one of the greatest blessings in my walk with Jesus. She is faithful, devoted and truly sensitive to Gods voice. During one of the most difficult seasons of my life – especially in my marriage, when I seriously thought about divorce – she stood by me with love, wisdom, and truth. Through her words prayers, and guidance she helped me find hope, when all I felt was pain. She encouraged me, strengthened me, and reminded me of God’s purpose for my family. I am deeply grateful for everything she has done, not only for me but also for my marriage. I highly recommend Pastor Ana Fernandes to anyone that needs spiritual direction, support, prayer or simply someone that reflects the true love of Christ. She is a faithful servant, dedicated and used by God to transform lives.

I have known Pastor Ana Flavia for 16 years, since she worked as a seamstress, making Christian choreography outfits. Back then, we didn’t have much contact. Later, God led me to Canaa Church in Newark, and I joined the dance ministry that she was also a part of. Flavia – thats what everyone called her – has a heart that is truly unexplainable; she is loving and always concerned with everyone. She wasn’t the ministry leader yet, until one day God chose her among others, preparing her to deal with other women, all with different temperaments, each with a problem – in short, a group of wounded women. Pastor Ana Flavia, who was not yet a pastor, always brought a word of faith, love, strength, and courage, with great wisdom. She always had a saying: “Here, no one is worse or better than anyone else; each has their own essence.” I learned a lot  from her, especially how to be a wise woman in my home. I remember how many times I would go to her and vent, or rather complain about my husband. She would end up giving me a gentle scolding, asking, “Could it be that you were also wrong? That you are wrong in the way you speak?” In the moment, I would get furious, thinking she was against me, but on my way back home, her words hammered in my head, and my anger would fade. Today I look up to her immensely. Pastor Ana Flavia taught all the women of the “Armor of God” group to seek more, to fast, and even encouraged us to read the Word. This is why we all still look to her as a reference as a wise woman. I even gave her the nickname “Dona Misericordia” Lady Mercy. I am very proud to be a part of her story – a woman always ready to counsel through the Word of God. May the Lord bless you in the name of Jesus

I have known Ana Flavia Fernandes since 2008. From the very beginning, she has been a humble, gracious woman, always serving her church with love and excellence. We served together, and even when she lived in a simple home, she welcomed us with such joy that it felt like we were stepping into a place filled with God’s peace. Her counsel is always rooted in the Word of God. And her words reach my heart with a comforting love that reminds me of Jesus Himself. Today, even though she lives in a beautiful spacious home her heart remains the same. She recieves us with the same humility, kindness, and warmth she had back in her modest home. Her caring heart has never changed because of her success; to me that is one of her greatest qualities – a generous, giving spirit that is always grateful to God. What touches me even more is how her beautiful family reflects who she is. Her husband and children are incredibly caring, loving people – each one carries a piece of her heart. You can see her kindness, gentleness, and her love for God shining through them. She is a woman who cares deeply, who notices people, and who values lives. A truly beautiful  soul – inside and out. When I am going through a difficult time, I always reach out to her. Her guidance brings comfort to my heart in a way that only someone truly touched by God can offer. Every word she speaks carries warmth, wisdom, and a love that lifts me up, gives me hope, and brings me peace.

Thank You Rachel – I have experienced a level of inner healing and freedom I didn’t know was possible. In a safe and grace-filled environment, I was gently guided to face wounds I had carried for years and to invite God into those hidden places. As truth replaced old lies, I felt a renewed sense of identity and peace. I am deeply grateful for the wisdom, compassion, and spiritual clarity that helped me step into genuine wholeness.

Pastor Rachel has counseled two of my daughters through the years. Her approach is one of incredulous compassion and warmth that immediately translated to feelings of safety, love, and support. Her unique way of relating with teens and tweens allowed them to trust her and open up about their concerns. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Rachel was able to identify the root cause of their worrying and work with them to address their concerns, both through prayer and actionable strategies. They always left their sessions feeling peace, knowing God has a purpose for their lives, and confident in the Lord’s unconditional love and desire for them to know they are daughters of the Most High God! She has been and continues to be a tremendous blessing to my daughters and our family!
